When is a laptop worth fixing?
When the repair is a small part of what a replacement costs and the laptop is not too old. Batteries, screens, keyboards and a faster drive are usually worth it.
When should I replace it?
When the repair costs more than about half of a comparable laptop, or the laptop is around 8 years old or more and needs a big repair.
Will I lose my files if I replace it?
Often your files can still be saved. If you buy a used laptop from us, we move your files for free.
