Privacy policy

Last updated October 2026.

HB Laptops respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• What you send us through this website: your name, phone number, the problem with your device and any photos you choose to send.
• What you give us at the shop when you drop off a device, so we can contact you about your repair.
• Basic website data, like which pages are visited, to help us improve the site.

How we use it

• To answer your request, give you a quote and update you about your repair.
• To send you a receipt or a message when your device is ready.
• We do not sell your information.

Your files

We only access the files on your device when a repair needs it, such as data recovery or moving your files to a new computer. Devices we buy or sell are fully wiped.

Website visits

We count visits to this website to see which pages help people. We use no cookies and collect no names or contact details for this: only the page, the type of device, and the website you came from. A random number is saved in your browser so a repeat visit is not counted twice.

Text messages

If you give us your phone number, we may text you about your repair. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
